About Us

The Pan IIM Alumni Network has been formed to foster the interests of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) alumni in the UAE and GCC. By bringing together alumni from all the IIMs, it has helped to create a critical mass of people who share similar professional backgrounds and interests. Set up in April 2008, it has grown into a vibrant group of over 350 alumni engaged in networking; organizing professional, social and cultural get-togethers; fund-raising and voluntary activities for organisations and individuals in need. It is incorporated as an International Company pursuant to the International Companies Regulation, 2006, of Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone.

The group members range across 40 batches, with the senior-most alumnus being a 1970 graduate of IIM Ahmedabad. Many of the alumni have their own entrepreneurial ventures, while others hold middle to senior management positions in corporate and institutional organizations, ranging across financial services, consulting, advertising, marketing, media, information technology, human resources, retailing, manufacturing and trading.

Governance is through an Executive Board, appointed by the Donor Members. On-going activities are managed by the President supported by other member volunteers.
